Singing lessons!

Over this past year I've made some really good friends, and pretty much adopted some Grand- parents. They are such amazing and interesting people. We absolutely love spending time with them. Well before "Grandpa" and "Grandma" retired, he traveled the world singing Opera, and Later took up teaching Music at a few different colleges; while she Played the violin in an Orchestra (needless to say a match made in heaven). Well yesterday I asked him If he'd give me singing lessons... And Of course he said he would. Well I think that I have an OK voice but I've always wanted lessons. I'm so excited! I can't wait, hopeful soon I can sing Beautiful lullabies for that new baby I want so bad! And maybe I can over come my stage fright.

Still workin on the Christmas tree!

So I've been looking for these Curly twigs so that I could stick them all around the Christmas tree for the longest time... OK maybe just a few weeks, but I finally found them! I spray painted them gold and put lots of gold glitter on them (Which I'm now covered in), I know that they sell them this way, but the only had one package left, and I didn't want them to be mismatched. I also put some more of the glass Ice sickles on it! YAY! I think its getting prettier and prettier!
I'm also thinking that since I am doing all these other things then maybe I'll actually manage to get the tree skirt finished, and my pillows done (pillows might be a stretch, although I think about doing it alot... does that count for anything?) I did take some pictures but you can't really see my twigs :'( Maybe if I take one during the day it will make a difference? We'll have to see.

3 year old makeover

So Raine and I went up to see My Husbands Aunt and uncle to drop off a HUGE dog (no I am not a professional dog transporter so don't ask) but while we were there Raine being the sweet girl she is, had a realization that Aunt Patty wasn't wearing any make-up, It wouldn't have been right of here not to help out. So here was the outcome of a beautiful make over. Behold....

So can you see the thrill and excitement in her face after this amazing, once in a lifetime Experience!

While we were there we also go to see they're new Donkey's... a Mama and a baby!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

So I told Y'all that I'd put some pics of the Christmas tree on here, so .... here she is!

I would've loves to have done some more with it, and probably will the skirt, but not right now... I'm feeling a bit Lazy!

but as far as the skirt I'd like to put some batting and tulle on top of the lights to make it look like glistening snow ( speaking of glistening snow I went o Wal-Mart today to buy the glade plug- in scent, and It's no where t be found, what a bummer huh?) OK now that that's over with I know that I'm a dork, but I'm kinda Crazy about my house smelling good!

So My favorite Christmas Decor for my living room has to be my bookcase cover (we keep movies in it and when Raine was smaller she'd take everyone of the out well I got kinda tired of it so made a few of these) I was just really please with the way it turned out! (Back to that laziness I still haven't made my matching pillows.)

Howdy!

Hello to everybody! I'd like you all to know that after months of agonizing torture, I've finally broke. My sister Cheryl, has forced me to blog against my will.
So updates on the family, My beautiful daughter Raine just had her 3rd birthday on December 1st at her Dream location, with her rodent Boyfriend... Chuck E. Cheese. Needless to say it was a blast! She's getting to that age where everyday, thing, and place is spectacular. I love watching her lite up! I wish I had that same passion for life.
As far as my love and I, I don't think we could be any better. We're both surviving in a love filled dysfunction that we like to call "Our Marriage"! Also since the Kid is getting too old we're trying for another one, so hope fully soon I can Blog about a Big belly. (I don't think that this is coming across as that torturous, but believe me it is)
Well I've gotta finish getting the house decorated for Christmas! When It's all done I'll have to take some pitures and post them!
